  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Butter a cookie sheet. Write fortunes on strips of paper about 4 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Generously grease 2 cookie sheets.
  2. Mix the egg white and vanilla until foamy but not stiff. Sift the flour, salt, and sugar and blend into the egg white mixture.

  • 230g unsalted butter, softened
  • 250g caster sugar

How To Make Minecraft Cake Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Grease two 23cm (9 in) square cake tins and dust with flour or cocoa powder.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt, then add to the butter mixture alternately with the milk, gently mixing between each addition. Divide the cake mixture evenly between the two prepared cake tins.

  2. Spread the chocolate buttercream icing all over the top and sides of the cake.
  3. Take some marzipan, about the size of a golf ball, and roll it in some red food colouring, using just a few drops at first and adding more if needed. Knead the marzipan to distribute the colouring throughout. Set aside.
  4. Roll out the remaining marzipan on a work surface dusted with icing sugar. Cut out a 23cm (9 in) square of marzipan, then carefully transfer to the top of the cake.
  5. Re-roll the trimmings of marzipan and cut into four 23x3cm (9 x 1 1/2 in) strips. Cut three rectangular notches out of each strip. Place a strip on each side of the cake, with the notches facing downwards. Gently press the top and side edges of marzipan together to seal.
  6. Roll out the piece of red marzipan and cut out squares of varying sizes. Spread a little bit of chocolate buttercream on the back of each square to act as glue, then place in a random Minecraft pattern on top of the cake.

  • 1 microwavable bowl or cup
  • A microwave
  • A blender (or food processor)
  • An ice cream maker
  • And of course, you need to have a fridge!

How To Make Almond Milk Ice Cream Recipe

  1. First, whisk half a cup of almond milk together with the chocolate cocoa and sugar in the microwavable bowl or cup until they are mixed well. Microwave the mixture for 40 seconds and stir well.
  2. In your blender or food processor, put in the bananas, the remaining cup of almond milk, and the cocoa mixture. Blend them for about 10 seconds or until pureed. Process the puree in the ice cream maker for about 20 minutes or until the mixture is thick enough. If you do not have an ice cream maker, you don’t have to worry about spending on one right away. You can just use a rectangular baking dish to pour the puree in. Place it in the freezer and leave it there for around 45 minutes. With a fork, stop the formation of more ice crystals around the edges of the dish by scraping them up. Put the dish back into the freezer and leave it there for another 30 minutes or so and scrape again. Repeat the process of freezing and scraping until the mixture becomes totally frozen.
  3. You can now serve the ice cream right away or freeze it more for later consumption or if you want it to be firmer. Making almond milk ice cream can be done in less than an hour (with an ice cream maker) and this recipe yields four servings.

How To Make Authentic Carne Asada Recipe

  1. Lay the flank steak in a large glass baking dish. In a medium bowl, whisk together the vinegar, soy sauce, 4 cloves of garlic, juice of two limes, and olive oil. Season with salt, black pepper, white pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, oregano, cumin and paprika. Whisk until well blended, then pour over the steak in the dish. Turn over once to coat both sides. Cover with plastic wrap, and marinate for 1 to 8 hours.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together 1 chopped white onion, cilantro, and the juice of 1 lime. Set aside to use as a relish for the tacos.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Toast chile pods in the skillet for a few minutes, then remove to a bowl of water to soak for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  4. Place the tomatoes, 1 onion, jalapenos, and 4 cloves of garlic onto a baking sheet. Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes, until toasted but not burnt. Place the roasted vegetables, and soaked chile pods into a blender or food processor, along with salt and pepper. Puree until smooth.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cut the marinated flank steak into cubes or strips. Cook, stirring constantly, until the meat is cooked through and most of the liquid has evaporated.
  6. Warm the tortillas in a skillet for about a minute on each side to make them pliable. Tortillas may also be warmed in a microwave oven. Arrange two or three tortillas on a plate, and lay a generous amount of beef over them. Top with a sprinkle of the onion relish and a large spoonful of the pureed salsa. Add as much cheese as you like. Garnish with lime wedges, and serve.

How To Make Authentic Posole Recipe Pork

  1. Set oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Place the peppers with cut sides down onto the prepared baking sheet.

  3. add diced onion, minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
  4. add seasoned broth, bring to a boil.
  5. reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. do not check on the rice before the 15 minutes is up, this will allow steam to escape and may make your rice turn out undercooked.
  6. most of the water will absorb before the 15 minute time limit but keep covered and continue to steam for the entire 15 minutes. this will make for perfect rice that isnt crunchy.
  7. after 15 minutes turn heat off, uncover & flip rice over. recover & let sit until everything else is ready. you can let the rice sit covered for up to 25 minutes which will cook out most of the moisture & leave perfect fluffy rice.

  • 1⁄2 cup light cream (I use 1/2 and 1/2)
  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 8 ounces white cheese dip (I use Gordo's brand (in the refrigerator section by the other cheese at Publix. It comes in a 16 oz )

How To Make Fire Cider Recipe

  1. Add the ginger, horseradish, onion, garlic, jalapeno and lemon juice/zest to a quart-sized jar. Pack them down lightly so that the jar is about 3/4 full. Use a fermenting weight to hold down the veggies/roots, or place heavy roots at the top so that they will weigh down the herbs and jalapenos (which float). Pour a generous amount apple cider vinegar over the roots/vegetables. You want everything to stay under the liquid to prevent spoilage. Keep in mind that some of the roots will expand a little so top it off well.
  2. If you’re using a metal lid, line it with wax paper so that the vinegar doesn’t corrode it, then put the lid on. Place in a dark, room temperature cabinet for 2-4 weeks. (A month is best)
  3. When the cider is ready, shake well and then strain the roots/veggies using a cheesecloth or fine mesh sieve. Add honey to taste and store in the fridge.

Note: Mountain Rose Herbs suggests that you used the strained veggies in stir fry or spring rolls. Yum!
